Jan 20, 2022 · Leech Lake Report. Walleyes have been tough to find with some limited activity overnight on the humps in Walker Bay or main lake structure in 24 to 28 feet. Dead sticks are producing more fish than jigging presentations. A few crappies are being found suspended over deep water in Boy Bay during low-light periods. Leech Lake Report. With the exception of some shoreline ice, Walker Bay and Agency Bay were wide open early this week. Main lake ice seems to come and go and with the warm warmer weather this week, don't expect much ice to form. There has been some foot traffic on a few small lakes in the area with 3 to 5 inches of ice being reported in spots ...Again we stress safety and want everyone to have a safe memorable fishing experience. So we will be limiting our traffic for the weekend.
