Jan 1, 2020. #5. I originally started using it because I couldn't get N133, a real disappointment to me. The more I used it, the more I appreciated it. I could preload the night before and be competitive in group. In score I was competitive with the 30BR, using a 6mm PPC. The down side, I had to watch for the dreaded carbon ring.15 degree with bearing-for the top sides of the forend. You can make the cut on a table saw or use a plane but the bit is easier. Flush cut bit. 1/2" radius- for the bottom of the forend and the cheek piece cut. 1/4, 1/2" and 5/8 cutters with bearings- for bottom metal.Mar 7, 2022. #1. I was watching a video from a friend of mine who has built one rifle for me, looking into issues with voodoo .22 rifles. You would think the quality control on a 3k dollar rifle would be more of a importance. I understand that you can get a lemon on just bout anything in today's society.

Have had three Savage rifles, over the years. Currently have a Savage 12 LRP 6.5 Creedmoor. For what's basically an off-the-shelf rifle, it's got a lot of value. Fairly accurate, reasonable light/target trigger, solid (HS Precision) stock. I wish they'd put a high-grade barrel on the thing, instead of the in-house factory unit.The BC difference depends on the specific caliber and bullet weight, but is usually on the order of around 2% to 8% percent. That's not a huge difference in BC, but is one that you can directly confirm using drop at some distance in side-by-side testing with two bullets of the same weight but different BC, or using LabRadar velocity data ...
