Failure Date: 01/15/2017. The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that a clicking noise was heard intermittently underneath the dashboard. The failure occurred whether the vehicle was in motion or just idling. The failure was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
I know my response isn't an answer to your solution, but I have the same thing happening to my car. It's always making the clicking/knocking sound whenever the AC is turned on, and now it doesn't produce any cold air. Only hot. It dims the lights and dash indicators. -The car functions normally (accessories, lights, etc) when key set to "ON" or "ACC". - This happened suddenly with no warning.3. Install the screws (1) that secure the recirculation door actuator (2) to the air inlet housing (3). Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (17 in. lbs.). 4. Connect the HVAC wire harness connector (4) to the recirculation door actuator. 5. Install the glove box into the instrument panel. 6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
