I don't think it's an issue of the primes vs other variants of weapons. Its an issue of the base weapon itself being a good weapon made much better as a variant. And personally I am against the power creep that the kuva and tenet variants bring to the table in some cases. There are also kuva and tenet variants that are just slightly better than ...I believe since Arca Plasmor doesn’t have actual pellets, it’s just one big shot, 100% status isn’t that important. So not having Shell Shock isn’t a huge deal, you can just use the 90%. I personally would build the Arca Plasmor and try it (might as well it’s mastery) and try the normal Hek and see which one you like using more.

Heat and toxin are the best elements for most lich/sister weapons with some exceptions that are better with magnetic.Edit: mag allows you to spank corpus shields even on viral slash build and an open slot for riven/flex. You dont need heat on slash builds. Otherwise corrosive heat build let's you do insane damage below level 200 and then still have mag for corpus shields and riven slot. i went heat for the tenet arca plasmor.cheers. Expand.
