Finally a kindred spirit. I've been playing d2 every ladder reset for about 18 years and end game top tier merc has always been fortitude and eaither upped eth vamp gaze or Andy's. Or in non-d2r ebug stone was also a top tier choice. A real shame they took it out. Never made a fortitude, not even when I played back in the days, so I just wartend to make sure this armor would make for a solid base. Level 15 fade gives 15% damage reduced tho :D but yeah id go for a fort over treachery if possible. Chilling armor is sick.

DS with 77 str req and wyrmhide with 84 str req can also be used for non Monarch builds without overstating str, which can help with resell value. So my priority is “function”>“style”>“resell value”.
