The stock is the main difference. The M2 is a great gun, but when you factor in the similarities and price, I would go with the Affinity.

I do have a Franchi Affinity 20 Compact coming, it is 43.375 in. - 44.375 in. OAL vs. 47.25 in. of the std.The Franchi has a traditional forearm and receiver while the Vinci models are one piece. The magazine tube on the Franchi is like most auto loaders that threads into the receiver. The Vinci's have their safeties at the front of the trigger guard and the Affinity is at the back (like other Benelli auto loaders).
I thonk the A300 is a better gun for the $. Adjustable LOP and comb. Well, the Affinity also has adjustable comb and length of pull. The a300 will shoot softer so it will help for high volume shooting or shooting with heavy loads. I can't think of any advantage for the affinity, but its still a very good gun.
