The Grand Illusion: Jean Renoir’s film about French prisoners of war during WWI. The film deals with themes on the futility of war and the decline of the existing social class system that existed prior to the war. I have seen this when Criterion had this on DVD, not so sure if this is still part of the collection. Still worth a watch.
