RAV4 steering is stiffer with less feedback than the Element's. So overall the RAV4 handling is tighter, but both have the same bias. Same size stock tires, but the RAV4 is lighter. RAV4 has been getting better power over the years, but I suspect until the last year or two, the Element has a better power to weight ratio.
