Hi guys. Just got a OMTech K40. Unpacking I saw a large hollow ceramic resistor. When I opened the pack of documents, the manual had a 3 page procedure wrapped around it. The procedure was how to test the power supply with the included resistor. I read a lot and watched a ton of video on the K40 and never saw anything about this resistor.

I use k40 whisperer which dithers it, so that’s half tone. I ran a test on some clear cast acrylic last night, masking paper removed from engraving side.
