I have 379 pete and its giving me a hard time. Electric issues, the alternator is brand new and was checked to be working but the truck still runs out of electricity every certain number of milles. As far as the dash light tape, i just disconnected mine and replaced them with two chrome 5 led strip lights. I attached them with 3M double sided tape at the top edge of switch panel.
