Kia soul shaking at idle
When car is Idle and A/C is on, engine vibrates a bit. Not so much vibration but my old Toyota doesn't have that problem. Is that normal? I also noticed that RPM does not increase when A/C is on at idle. RPM is at about 650RPM to 700RPM at idle and A/C is on (and engine is already warm). I sometimes find in hot weather to idle the car for air conditioning which is obviously not good to do but circumstances call for it. When I got the car in service the coolant was low so I had it drain and fill at a local repair place.Yes, it is fixed. I haven't had any problems for days, and runs and idles perfectly. Even gets better economy than it used to. Sadly, I don't need it much anymore, since buying the new Kia Soul. After getting the new Kia, I find it hard to go back to the Rio, as they are light years apart in technology, (and 8 model years apart for real).

Although the idle is rough, it drives fine otherwise. No noticeable sluggishness or trouble accelerating. Recently, the car vibrates more when the A/C is on. I've taken care of a few things already like spark plugs, oil change, CEL for an O2 sensor, compression test 180-190 across all 4, air filter, cleaned MAF, cleaned throttle body, seafoam in gas. My issue is: at idle the engine vibrates enough to be annoying. Not terribly, but it comes into the cabin and is bothersome.
