They have been reliable for many years. I have owned 3 of the newer bikes in the last 10 years and not a single problem with any of them.The bike is about to get 30.000km. It's desmo maintenance time, something about changing engine belts and checking/adjusting valves, etc. Unfortunately I'm not sure I will be able to afford it, my local Ducati dealership told me to expect well over 1000€ for the maintenance with over 12 hours of labour expected 😰😵... ….

The Italian bikes need to be serviced more frequently and at a higher cost. Period. Non negotiable. They make more power, but cost more money. It's maintenance where you will need to inspect and adjust the engine valves every few thousand miles.
