Ram rotary shifter stuck in park
Feb 8, 2014 · 12 posts · Joined 2014. #25 · Apr 3, 2014. I had this issue on my Durango with 14 miles on it. Turned out under the shifter assembly and center console, there are dual ground eyelets. Mine were not tightend to spec. Tech put on a scanner, with in 1 hour had the issue solved and tightend the eyelets to the ground bolt. Probably an issue with the park position sensor, the park lock solenoid, or the park hold solenoid (or wiring). Could have been a momentary glitch. The diagnostics do basically tell the dealer (if it won't repeat) to simply check the wiring connections, clear the code, and monitor it. Dec 27, 2016. #6.

I have the same problem, taken it to the dealer here in LA for it twice, once they reflashed the trans computer.
