Enduring is overkill with lithoid and necro. #1. tempest.of.emptiness Jan 17, 2021 @ 4:12pm. Main species: - Enduring is overkill (as Theutus said). By the time any lithoid necrophage leader might die of old age your leader life expectancy will have increased through techs and traditions. Non-Gestalt Necrophage is the best by far. Your Necrophages are specialists, they get bonus to specialist and ruler output, you give them specialist traits. The non-Necrophages can still do most worker jobs, so you give them worker traits. Its like Syncretic Evolution, but stronger. And you get a bunch of pops from colonies.

For 3.6 that's still being established. 3.6 is still in beta so the balance keeps changing. In 3.5 the meta is still a 70/30 mix of artillery battleships and carrier battleships, countered by a full fleet of artillery battleships, which is countered by a swarm of torpedo corvettes. Generally.Perk slots are just too important. If you don't mind being xenophobe, purge (necrophage) them, and all other species except your starting secondary. -- xenophobe is needed for this option. Abduction not worth it - your starting pops is already busy ...Stellaris: Necroids is the latest species pack to PDX’s only 4X sci-fi title, adding a race of necrophages – that’s dead-eating organisms – to the game. The DLC adds a new origin, three new civics, 16 portraits (including a robotic one), alongside new city and ship set art options, a new advisor, new name lists, and even new buildings.I haven't played Stellaris in over a year, and I'm playing with Necrophage for the first time. I've looked at other guides, and some mention that the prepatent species is enslaved by default, but that only happens if I use Slaver Guilds. I don't really like that civic because it makes some of my Necrophage pops enslaved as well.

Necro-hives (non-genocidal) are a tricky war build where you should take catalytic converter and balance a livestock food economy versus pop conversion and early war. Very good for learning how to play with low pop growth, and the power of hive-mind Unyielding starbases, as you can't pop-bloom but can have a massive early-game military ...

Steps …Sounds like a good build so far. I would say pops are most important to a necrophage empire. You gotta maintain a steady supply of workers through abduction or primitives. Raiding stance is pretty self-explanatory: go to war, steal pops, end the war, repeat.Progenitor Hive is the best Origin for hives by far. Hives have some pretty lame civics unfortunately.
