The best way is to absolutely rush. There are no penalties for rushing and only benefits for rushing so there is no rational reason to be concerned about being rushed. Rushing is only detrimental where there is weight-based matchmaking (which doesn't exist in builder base) or hall level matchmaking (which doesn't exist in builder base).
