The Steam controller still works, but the default Start button is mapped to Esc, which isn't possible to map in the DeSmuMe Input menu. I've had a few emulators have trouble recognizing the Steam controller menu, but all I'd have to do in that case is turn on a game, and I'd get that little "Steam Controller is Connected" notification on the bottom right.
