There is no such thing as a “warranty appointment”. You are asking them to do an investigation. Labor is not free. Now one could say that they have the upper hand in the situation, but no one said you HAVE to take it to them. But your chances with them are better because they know what to look for.

2023 RWD M3 has about 300 miles of range. So my 2023 Model 3 has an LFP battery and I’ve done tests where I can consistently drive around 20-35 miles past 0% before it throws a fit. On delivery day I’ve had 273 projected range as max but it went to 272 after a day or so. My 2017 Tesla Model X with about 87,000 miles says battery fuse needs to be replaced soon. Used dealerships often advertise free supercharging based solely on the model year which is not correct. In terms of value, it's not worth very much. I have an older Model S and pay for supercharging. The vast majority of my charging is at home, so it only comes in for road trips which is maybe once a year. For charging limit, batteries are happiest at around 50%. But again, it probably doesn’t make enough of a difference to stress out over this. It’s probably better for your battery to keep in plugged in, than to charge to 60% and drain to 40% or whatever. I usually do 70% to 80%. Higher numbers are better in cold weather and worse in warm ...
